I LOVE Reading Month continues! 

We have another big day to start planning for:

Storybook Character Day: March 6th

Stoneridge School is celebrating I Love Reading Month!  Show your school spirit and that you love to read by dressing up as a character from your favorite storybook.

WHAT:             Students are encouraged to choose a character from their favorite book and come to school with their book dressed up in costume like the character they have chosen.  Our emphasis is on literature not movies or television - please keep this in mind as you choose your character. Be sure to bring your book with you!

WHO:              All Stoneridge School students and staff are invited to participate

WHEN:           Wednesday, March 6^th

WHY:              This fun event is a great way to share good books with our friends and celebrate I Love Reading month!

Monday, February 25th is a fundraiser at Big Spoon Yogurt in the Fountains. 

Head over and mention Stoneridge to be entered in a raffle and to support our musical, 'Aladdin.'

Friday, February 8th

IMPORTANT!!! NO SCHOOL MONDAY! 
We can't wait to see the kids on Tuesday. 

Tuesday, February 12 is "Crazy About Reading Day": 
Dress crazy! Wear crazy socks, mismatched clothes, crazy hair, etc. 

Tuesday evening at 6pm is Incoming Parent Night. We will meet in the MP for an overview of all grade level activities. Then, incoming kindergarten parents will go to one of the kindergarten rooms to meet the teachers and learn about kindergarten at Stoneridge. 

Another great week for the students here at Stoneridge! 

What a lucky school we are to have the best librarian, Mrs. Caines!! She worked hard to pick out enough special books to give one to each of our Stoneridge students. There were many excited kids!

Our leadership kids have been busy spreading the word about Pennies for Patients! Please make a donation in the front office and hang the same dollar amount on the board. It is called the 'Dollar For Dollar' board.

Hello Stoneridge Families!

We had a great week here at Stoneridge. Today, we kicked off I LOVE Reading Month with an assembly. There are many fun activities this month, so be on the look out! 

We also announced our 'I LOVE Reading' bookmark winners. Copies of these students' bookmarks will be shared with their grade level.

It's time to register for the 2019-2020 school year for all NEW and RETURNING families!  Registration is done online at www.rcsdk8.org - click on 'Online Registraton 2019-2020'and then on either the RETURNING STUDENT registration if you have a child at Stoneridge now or NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION for incoming TK, Kindergarten, or new students in 1st - 5th grades.  

Stoneridge will be hosting a Parent Information night on Tuesday, February 12th at 6:00 p.m. - parents & guardians are welcome to attend and learn about the exciting things happening at Stoneridge!
