And like that, March is here! Just a few weeks until Spring Break. Then, as we all know, the rest of the year flies by! I cannot believe it. Take a second to reflect on what a year it has been! It was not easy, but we all worked together and overcame each obstacle. It is nothing short of amazing! You are all amazing!

Statewide Testing/ CAASPP: This part of the year is when we have our statewide testing for grades 3-5. Parents, look out for an email coming this week with information about testing.

DROP OFF REMINDER: When you are dropping off your children in the morning, please pull all the way forward. It causes a lot of traffic issues when cars stop right in front of school. This last week, there was almost an accident as a result of this. We have people available to help your child get to class, if they need it. Or, you are welcome to park and walk your child to the gate. Thank you for your cooperation.

Registration:  Please register your children even if they are returning students. There will be an option for distance learning again next year. Fill out the included survey. Click here to register: '21-'22 Registration

Lost and Found: Lost and Found items are hanging on the gate in front of school. If your child is missing a sweatshirt or jacket, please come take a look. We donate the items if they are not claimed.

This Friday, wear your best Zoom Attire. That means you look great on top and wear whatever you want on the bottom! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Have a great rest of your weekend!

Yet, another monumental event that our children get to witness. The touchdown of 'Perseverance,' the rover, that landed on Mars. There is one thing I want my own children to get out of this event and that is the perseverance it has taken to make this happen! All of the hard work: the risk taking, the failing and the trying again. Simply incredible! It will be fun to see what we learn as we get more information from this mission.

This week is conference week, so all of you will get to see what your students are learning and how they are doing. I love conferences with my children's teachers. It is so fun to hear their perspective and insight. Does anyone else get a little sad when their child moves on to middle school and there is no longer a conference? Or is it just me? 😊

IMPORTANT: For conference week, ALL KINDERS will attend school from 8:15am-11:15am. Please set your alarms and reminders! Students grades 1-5 will all be released at 11:35am.

2) As a cautionary measure, if a family member is awaiting a COVID-19 test, awaiting results, or potentially exposed to a positive case, we ask you to self-quarantine your children until results are in.

Update regarding GATE Testing- Some parents have inquired about GATE testing. Please see the message below:

2021-2022 GATE Identification

Testing for GATE identification typically occurs in January, however, this year (20/21 school year) the district will not be conducting GATE testing.  If there are any changes in this decision, the website will be updated to reflect the testing dates.
