Happy Sunday Families!! WHAT.A.WEEK. First, we welcomed parents onto our campus to see their student's receive an award for being Proactive. We were as excited as the parents to have you join us for the celebration. If your child is going to receive an award, the teacher will let you know. We have one assembly a month. Next month, we will recognize students who are Accountable! 

Every Friday morning, we begin with a Flag Salute and PACK pass drawing. We draw five names from a bucket of PACK passes. These are the winners of Friday's drawing! They won the opportunity to appear on Stoneridge Instagram and share why they love Stoneridge. They were very excited!

And then, of course, the Thursday evening ice cream social. It was wonderful to see so many of you there! The kids were still talking about it on Friday! I have since recovered😆

PTC News!

Thank you so much Stoneridge for a great Ice Cream Social turn out! We appreciate all the volunteers who helped out behind the scenes and day of! Thank you!  PTC handed out 700+ ice cream sandwiches and popsicles and students threw over 200 cups of chalk at Principal Brooks. WOW! That's a lot of chalk!

Congratulations to the raffle prize winners too! There are three prizes that need to be claimed and you can check your ticket to the ticket on the prize in the front office.

The first PTC meeting is Thursday, September 8th. Come meet the crew, get details on what's happening now and what's around the corner. Childcare provided and we'll meet in the multi-purpose room.  This PTC meeting only - FINGERPRINTING is available! This is a great opportunity to stop by, even if you can't stay, to get fingerprinted and pick up a packet to officially be in the Roseville District database to volunteer. Once you're in the system, you are good to volunteer the whole time your student(s) are in the district. Payment accepted; credit card and Venmo.

Hello Families! Before I get to all of the information about the fun evening we have planned this week, I need to share a plea for help! We desperately need Meal Duty Supervisors. It is a paid commitment from 11:30-12:30 each day. You will help in the lunch room and on the playground. You can apply on edjoin.org

A HUGE thank you to all of the parents that have been volunteering. This has absolutely saved the day! Now, it is time to get serious! In the meantime, here is a sign up to help as we continue to look for people to hire. Thank you!!

Ok, now for the fun stuff!! Do you remember this?? Well, Mrs. Brooks is crazy enough to do it again!! We have a very fun Ice Cream Social planned for you, including the opportunity to throw chalk at Mrs. Brooks. 

Ice Cream Social - This Thursday 8/25

Bring the whole family out for popsicles, ice cream, and FUN! Enjoy the night with family, friends, teachers and staff Thursday, August 28th - 5:30-7.

Sponsored by PTC, the event includes Games/Tattoo Stations and Popsicles/Ice Cream. There will be a Raffle for great prizes and an opportunity to “CHALK” Mrs. Brooks! Similar to a Color Run concept, for $5 a cup, students get to throw colored chalk at the Principal and the student’s LOVE it!

Raffle Tickets on sale now and at the event, $5 chalk cups sold at the event, Spirit Wear and New Stoneridge Yard Signs available for purchase too.

Raffle drawing for prizes will be at 6:45pm. You do need to drop 1/2 of the purchased raffle ticket into the bucket of the prize you’re trying to win, however, you do not need to be there to win/pick up prize.

and/or Instagram will receive one free raffle ticket. To earn the entry, obviously start following and request to follow PTC on social THEN message PTC and tell us your student's name & grade. The only way to get the raffle ticket is to message PTC so we can deliver the free ticket to your student(s) at school this upcoming week.

Donated prizes range from restaurant gift cards, Lifetime gift cards, Stoneridge Spirit Wear Swag Bags, etc.

some fantastic opportunities we have at Stoneridge and in the district to serve as an Instructional

Assistant for our students.
Stoneridge is a fantastic workplace, and we are looking for individuals to serve as

an IA in our classrooms and with our students! IA positions are flexible, rewarding, and play a key role in supporting our students! 
We will be holding an IA Job Fair on Wednesday, August 31, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the District Office, located at 1050 Main Street, Roseville. 
Our team will give a presentation at 5:30 to provide information about the IA job,

locations, hiring, and assist you with completing an application. We will have a supervised

room with activities for those who need to bring their child. Come check it out!

Welcome Back!!!

 

Welcome Back, Stoneridge! What a great start to the school year! Our teachers have loved getting to know their students and watching their students get to know each other. We have been working hard this week to make sure our students understand the expectations on campus in order to set them up for success. 

We have some exciting events approaching quickly. The Ice Cream Social is August 25th. I have heard some rumbling about chalk throwing- IYKYK😉 We are also bringing back Jog-A-Thon!!!! Yay!!! We will need lots of hands on deck to make these events happen so be sure to reach out to our PTC to see how you can help. The Jog-A-Thon will be September 29th. 

As you saw in Timberwolf TV, there are a couple pages we need returned from your Back to School Packet. Please fill those out and return them to your child's teacher. They are the Annual Family Notice and the blue field trip form. There is also a calendar of events for the year that our PTC worked hard to plan and put together. Pull that out and hang it close to your calendar!
