Thank you to everyone for a great start to the year! We had so many parents at Back to School Night, so many parents help contribute school supplies, and so many smiles the first two days of school. Thank you!

Welcome Committee
For our new and returning Stoneridge families, don’t forget we have a Welcome Committee. We match new families with current families. This helps parents and children get to know their new school and the community better. We want new families to register and current families to volunteer. Please see the link for more information.

Gates close at 8:45 in the morning
Just a reminder that the gates close in the morning at 8:45 so please be on time. Also, no parents past the gates without checking into the office.
School Site Council
Nominations are now open for parent vacancies on our School Site Council. We have 3 open positions. Each year a number of parent members rotate off the Council and new representatives are elected to serve. Representative serve a two (2) year term. The Stoneridge School Site Council generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 3:30 pm in our office.
As a member of the School Site Council, you share in important financial decisions that guide the core of our school. We have three (3) parent vacancies on the School Site Council. If you are interested in joining our School Site Council, elections will take place in the Fall.
MONDAYS - Minimum Days 1:52 Dismissal
Every Monday is a PLC (Professional Learning Community) Day - teacher planning day with a 1:52 dismissal. All Kinders (Early & Late Start) and 1st-5th grade come from 8:50-1:52. TK times do not change.
After School Enrichment Classes
Enrichment classes start next week! STAR Nova Carve It Up starts Monday after school and Rock Band starts on Tuesday and Wednesday after school. Please visit nova.starsacramento.org to register or get more information.
No Dogs on Campus
A reminder that we cannot have dogs on our campus. This includes the white pavement around the school. Unfortunately it is a liability issue, so please do not bring your dog on school grounds.
